Roasted apple à la mode with hot Balsamumm-butterscotch sauce
This apple recipe is very easy to prepare and is to die for. John serves his roasted apple “à la mode” with a hot balsamic butterscotch sauce, a pure pleasure! Enjoy.

| ¼ cup of unsalted butter |
| 2 tablespoon of Sugar |
| Slices almonds (optionnal) |
| Vanilla ice cream |
| Balsamumm original or bianco |
Preparation
Preheat oven at 350˚F.
Using a small knife, make 4 incisions in apples. Place in oven pan and cook about 1h to 1h15.
Meanwhile you can prepare your Balsamumm-butterscotch sauce (view recipe).
5 minutes before end of cooking time, add 1 tbs. of sugar on each apple cook another 5 minutes.
When ready, place the apples on a serving plate, add vanilla ice cream and drizzle with Balsamumm-butterscotch sauce, sprinkle with sliced almonds (optional) and finich with a drizzle of Balsamumm original or bianco.
