Julie is a fan of Budwig Cream! When she discovered this recipe, she was hooked! She prepares this nutritious feast nearly every day and wanted to share the healthy benefits of this perfect breakfast with you. Some of you may know about Budwig Cream, this healthy breakfast, not invented but rediscover by Catherine Kousmine. This is not a diet meal but mostly a simple balance way to start your day with basically everything you need for your body to be happy! Benefit from all the of the cereals and oleaginous from this meal. In this recipe the cereals are uncooked but grinded, nevertheless extremely digestible and full of flavour and very good for you. For Julie, Budwig Cream is the healthiest breakfast and most balanced. In the summer it is even better with the fresh raspberries, blueberries and strawberries from Quebec.

Ingredients
1 ripe banana
1 cup of your choice; plain yogurt, sour cream (less than 1 % of fat), rice milk or white cheese (less than 1 % of fat),)
The juice of 1/2 lemon
2 tablespoon of almond butter (can be replace by pumpkin seeds butter or peanut (100% naturel))
1 tablespoon of organic flax oil or any other polyunsaturated oil, sesame, sunflower, almond…
1 cup of you favourite fresh fruits, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, pineapple…
4 leaf of fresh mint
4 tablespoon of complete organic cereal freshly grinded and raw cleaned barley, oats, quinoa, millet, buckwheat, flax, brown rice
2 teaspoon of your favourite nuts; almonds, pumpkin seeds, hazelnuts, hemp, sunflower, linseed, cashew nut…
1 teaspoon of honey, real and 100% natural maple syrup (optional)

Preparation

tart by grind your cereals with a mortar or an electric grinder.

In a plate, mix together the almond butter and the yogurt. Add the flax oil and emulsify well.

Add the cereals and mix everything. Add the fresh minced mint leaves, nuts and mix.

Transfer the cream in two small service dish, add half of the banana in slices in each plate and  fruits.
